Material pertaining to the Indiana campaign of the United Negro College Fund, 1950-1955, including correspondence, minutes, reports, publicity materials, financial records, and photographs of fundraising activities. Correspondence is between Joseph Russell Brown and national officers Paul Franklin and William J. Trent Jr., and includes Brown's solicitation efforts. Photographs picture a number of Indianapolis community leaders, including Harvey N. Middleton, John Bookwalter, Plummer Jacobs, W.R. Sinclair, Russell Lane, Robert L. Brokenburr, Cleo Blackburn, F.E. DeFrantz, and Joseph Ward.
